Holy Bible: Saint Paul Edition

Adhering to the motto “as literal as possible, as free as necessary,” the New Revised Standard Version translation committee has crafted a version of the bible that is formal enough to convey accurately the meaning of the original texts, yet contemporary enough to meet the need's of today's church.

The Saint Paul Edition of the New Revised Standard Version, using the text commonly called the Catholic Edition, contains the Deuterocanonical books distributed throughout the Old Testament canon, as preferred by Roman Catholics as well as by many in the Episcopalian, Lutheran, and other traditions.
