THE BATTLEFIELD: OUR MINDS

    Are you tormented by doubts?

    Memories of past failures?

    Thoughts of unworthiness?

Fear of dangers that lurk all around you?

As soldiers in the army of the Lord, we face the onslaught of evil forces head-on every day. But no need to despair…God has not abandoned us. In this edition, Jessie Penn-Lewis reveals:

  • Satan's game plan - his tricks, lies, and methods of destruction
  • The deception - that "sincere" Christians can be deceived
  • The Devil's target - his methods for targeting believers
  • Spiritual warfare principles - both offensive and defensive

Learn to equip yourself with God's full arsenal of weapons to defeat the Enemy. Don't wait a moment longer. Now is the time to armor yourself against spiritual attacks. You can emerge victorious from every battle.

JESSE PENN-LEWIS (1861-1927) was a female evangelist and author from England. Evan Roberts, who was instrumental in the Welsh revival in the early 1900s, stayed with Mrs. Penn-Lewis and her husband, William, for a time. Mrs. Pen-Lewis had been an eyewitness to the revival; her book War on the Saints (presented her as Secrets of spiritual Warfare), which Roberts contributed to, was written to counter what she perceived as the excesses of the revival and the deceptions of Satan at work to prevent the true work of God in awakening. Penn-Lewis' classic is considered a textbook on spiritual warfare by many Christians. Mrs. Penn-Lewis also established and edited the periodical The Overcomer.
